Donald Trump will send Hundreds of Federal Agents to Several US Cities
US President Donald Trump has said that a large number of Central Security Forces members will be sent to several US cities to curb crime.
As the violence escalated, the Republican president decided to send the members to two more Democrat-populated cities, including Chicago.
But there has been controversy over the deployment of security forces in Portland and Oregon. Local officials say this has caused more concern during the ongoing protests.

He blamed the "massive increase in incidents of shootings, killings, assassinations and heinous violence".
“The bleeding must stop,” he said. "This bleeding must stop."
"After this, no mother and her dead child will have to walk around. Politicians have not taken any measures to protect their neighbors and the city before," he said.
U.S. Attorney General William Barr, who is Mr. Present with Trump, he said, they sent about two hundred federal agents to Kansas City and Missouri. A further number of agents will be sent to Chicago and about 35 to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In the latest incident, 14 people were killed in a shooting outside a building scheduled for a funeral. This is thought to be a gang-related incident.
The city has a 34% increase in homicides compared to last year, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
According to a 2016 FBI survey, the crime rate in Albuquerque is 3.8 times higher than the national average. The number of murders and rapes that year was twice the national average.
According to the Kansas City Star, the city has the highest number of homicides in 2020. In Kansas City alone, there have been 110 homicides so far. As many as 50 more homicides have been reported in the entire metro area.
