Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder

Ohio Speaker Arrested for Taking Bribes

Five people, including Larry Householder, a Republican speaker at the Ohio House in the neighboring state of Michigan, have been arrested on bribery charges. They were arrested on July 21. The FBI is investigating a 60 million federal bribe against them.

The other four arrested are Jeffrey, Larry's adviser, Neil Clark, a State House lobbyist, Matthew Borges, a former chairman of the Ohio Republican Party, and Joan Sippidis, a co-founder of The Oxley Group.

It is learned that FBI Speaker Larry Householder also raided the rural farm. Hours after the raid, U.S. Attorney David DeVilleurs said it was the largest bribery and money laundering case against the people of Ohio. Speaker Larry was one of the people who saved nearly 1 billion from two nuclear power plants in Ohio.

State Governor Mike Dwayne called on Larry to resign immediately. The governor said it was impossible for him to be an effective legislative leader because of the allegations against him.
